Harry Potter #6 - Spoiler Alert!!!
Okay, so I really like Harry Potter...I think JK Rowling has really created an alternate world that feels completely real and I can see how much fan fiction could be inspired - I mean you could write a whole book on Hermione's childhood that would be fascinating. Or you could take Dumbledore - well his life story would be more than one book, but...
Anyway, I digress...regarding the lastest installment of the Harry Potter series.
Snape - Is he evil? Well...I certainly don't think he's very nice, but I think he's also a sad bullied boy who turned into a bitter man.
Is he on Voldemort's team? Hmmm...this is tougher. At the beginning when Narcissa and Bella come to his house, I don't think he honestly knew the plan - I think he was able to play along quite well, but I don't think that Voldemort had confided in him, however by pretending he was able to gain even more information.
Was he planning on killing Dumbledore? Again, I don't know - I haven't finished my second read-through yet, but I don't think Dumbledore would have trusted him without a plan and it is possible that part of that plan included killing Dumbledore if it came to that.
R.A.B. - Who is he? Well the prevailing theory is Regulus Black, which I think makes sense based on the Horcrux idea that the locket was in the bowl and that the locket was found at 12 Grimmauld Place. However, I'm going back to re-read the other books to see if anyone else could fit the profile.
Horcruxes - Okay I'll have more to say on this once I re-read the book - I don't remember enough of what I do/don't know to speculate yet, except that the diary and the ring are gone (2 down) and a part of the soul still lives in Voldemart (that's 3) so we know there are 4 left. If I recall correctly - Slytherin's locket is one, Nagini the snake is one, and I can't remember the other one we 'know'. It's likely that the last two are from Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff/Griffendor.
And what about those mirrors...(Sirius' mirror that Harry could have talked to him through) how does that play in. And the mirrow of Erised...hmmm...she likes mirrors.
Okay, back to reading...I'll see what other ideas pop into my head after I finish.
