Dating...ugg?

So...this dating thing...

I've finally decided/accepted that I can't control whether I have a significant other in my life or not. So...I am releasing that idea into the universe. I am giving up (or attempting to) control and worry and wonder and letting the universe deal with it. I'm going to deal with the everyday things like laundry and filling my condo with cool photos and art and keeping my cats flea-free and maintaing my circle of close friends.

Now, as far as this whole 'universe' thing goes...I have no idea what that is. I like the idea that all matter and energy affects the energy around it. The whole 'good vibes' thing I think can be effective. But how much of this is just releasing this energy from my mind/body and how much the universe is actually going to be able to affect...who knows!
